With consumers spending nearly six hours a day engaging with content across streaming platforms, broadcast, and cable, it's clear that TV is today's most captivating entertainment medium. But TV also holds the power to educate and inspire, to bring people together around common interests, and ultimately, to improve the world. Who we see on-screen in content as well as how we see them play critical roles in informing identities and influencing our personal attitudes and beliefs. This presentation will focus on diverse representation in entertainment content, the role this plays in identity formation, and key takeaways for the television industry and media leaders.
